Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) is reported to state that the person who recites the following Darood Sharif will cross the Sirat Bridge in such a state that his one hand will be held by him (Hazrat Ibrahim A.S) and his other hand will be held by Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (S.A.W) and thus he will be led to the Paradise. The Darood Sharif is :
Hazrat Ali (R) is reported to state that by reciting this Darood Sharif (100 times) there will be so much luminosity on the Day of Resurrection that it will suffice the whole creatures if distributed among them. It is the couplet of preface to Qaseeda Burda Sharif by Imam Basairi (R.A).
Write down the following Darood Sharif on a piece of a paper and put it on a high place or hang it in a tree carefully for the recovery of an escaped or lost or thing.
Rectification for the Person who recites Darood Sharif:
Abdul Wahid Zaid Basir (R.A) states that once he was going to perform Haj, a person joined him by chance. That person used to recite Darood Sharif round the clock. He asked him the cause of it. He replied that when he was going to perform Haj for the first time his father accompanied him. When they were about to return after performing Hajm, they went to sleep at a point. That person heard some one saying in his dream,
“Wake up, your father has expired an his face has turned black”
He got up in confusion and watched the face of his father by lifting the cloth is father had really died and his face had also turned black. He got highly terrified and did not know what to do. He was sitting in extremely sad condition and fell asleep. He saw some black faced terrifying men about to attack on his father’s head. They had mighty iron hammers in their hands. Suddenly an extremely beautiful elderly man appeared there. He removed all those terrifying people and moved his blessed hand on the face of his father. The black complexion turned into fair and the ugliness into beauty in no time. He bade him to get up and see the face of his father whom Allah Almighty had beautified. He was wonderstruck to see the gleaming face of his father. He fell into the feet of that holy personality and requested him to tell about himself. That personality replied.
“I am your Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). Your father used to recite and send Darood Sharif on me daily without break. But today when it did not reach me I asked the angels the cause of it. They replied that that person had died and his face had got deformed and his corpse was lying in that jungle. Therefore I have come to rescue him in this time of calamity”.
The narrator states that after that incident he did not abandon sending Darood Sharif on Nabi Kareem (S.A.W). Now he recited Darood Sharif every moment, and at every place.

Darood Sharif and Hazrat Usman (R):
Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas (R) states that one day he went to see Hazrat Usman (R), when he found Hazrat Usman (R) very pleased , he asked his good self the cause of so much pleasure. Hazrat Usman (R) told that he was blessed with the holy sight of Nabi Kareem (S.A.W). He bestowed him cold water that he drank to his fill. And even at that time he was feeling its coldness and saturation. Hazrat Abdullah Bin that blessing. Hazrat Usman (R) stated that because of Darood Sharif, he was honoured. Hearing this tears began to roll down like pearls from the eyes of Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas (R).
